My Interest

My interest in homebrewing came from the Samuel Adams commercials aired in February and March of 2007. I saw the commercials a couple of times before I decided that it sounded awesome. My fiances brother brews his own beer and I always thought it was interesting that he knew how to do it himself. He’s a Maine inhabitant and the short time I have spent up there has proven that it seems a much larger passtime up there than this area. He explained the process to me once and I must say my head was spinning, so many things and all at once.

Who’s the man behind the blog?

Jeff Brown

My name is Jeff Brown and I am a High School Teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools. I am also the owner of a small web design firm, Jeff Brown Designs LLC based in Frederick, MD. When I’m away from my beer I like to learn as much as possible about the Web. It’s way past a past time and more like an obsession, my fiance was actually interested to see me passionate about something other than the computer.

Backend

My hope is to design a fabulous front end when I find the time. Until then, I am using a Wordpress theme designed by Scott Wallick called blog.txt. This site is hosted by dreamhost.
